As temperatures continue to dip, the Virginia Department of Transportation is warning drivers that there may be icy conditions on roads.

VDOT reported Sunday evening that roads were clear but wet. That could create freezing conditions overnight.

Crews will be on duty overnight to respond to any problem areas.

VDOT recommends being prepared with an emergency kit in the car, allowing extra time to reach destinations and paying close attention to roads.
