Governor Tim Kaine held his fifth and final transportation town hall meeting tonight at the Culpeper County Office Building.

The Governor explained the need for spending on transportation to a standing room only crowd. He also broke down the different budget proposals the General Assembly is currently considering. Besides education, Governor Kaine believes transportation is the Commonwealth's biggest concern.

"The transportation issue needs to be addressed in a growing state. It's critical for the economy. But doing it in the right way and not taking money away from education budgets is the wise solution," Governor Tim Kaine said.

Currently, the House and Senate are working on the state's budget but they are nearly one billion dollars apart.
