The Albemarle County man who lost his wife and children in a fatal fire last weekend is getting a helping hand.

The "Friends of Sadiqh" fund was set up by a few people from Keswick Hall in Albemarle County.

Last Saturday, a house fire claimed the lives of his wife and two small children. The fundraiser will help cover funeral costs as well as his medical expenses, as he was injured in the fire.

The group hopes to raise $100,000 over the course of two months. So far, they have raised $40,000.
