Two more candidates have announced they are in the running for the Charlottesville School Board.
Charlie Kollmansperger and Sue Lewis will also be running. Lewis, who has been applying for the past 20 years, said she has a passion for education. Kollmansperger is a former special education teacher at Greenbrier Elementary for five years. They both admit the board is in need of a change.
"I am known as a listener and a person who asks really good questions and I think that's been lacking on the school board in recent years," said Sue Lewis.
"The school system needs to communicate and connect with the community and that means the school community as well as the parents and students," said Charlie Kollmansperger.
The other four candidates will be on the May 2, 2006 ballot during the City Council election.
