A fox was killed Friday evening and Albemarle County Police feel confident is was the same one involved in the attacks of 3 people earlier in the day.

The incidents happened in the Southwood community, just off Old Lynchburg Road.

Animal Control officers responded to the area but the fox ran away once it was approached.

The Game Warden and Health Department were notified.
