White House officials have released new information regarding President Barack Obama's visit to Albemarle County on Monday.

The president is taking French President Francois Hollande on a tour of Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson.

The two presidents are expected to be in town between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

A motorcade route has not been released -- and likely will not be -- but Albemarle County Police said to expect delays on roads throughout the county between 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Because of the visit, local schools are dismissing early. An Albemarle County spokesman said 70 percent of students would likely be affected by the traffic delays.

All Albemarle County schools will close two hours ahead of schedule on Monday.

Charlottesville High School will dismiss at 2 p.m., while Walker and Buford will dismiss at 1 p.m. Three-year-old classes will dismiss at 12:30 p.m., and elementary schools will dismiss at 1:30 p.m.

After-school child care through the CLASS program will remain in session and end at the usual time. The activity buses will not run on Monday.
