VSP: Additional Suspect Arrested in Kevin Quick Case

Virginia State Police have made another arrest in the investigation into the disappearance and death of Waynesboro Police Department Reserve Capt. Kevin Quick.

Police arrested 22-year-old Anthony L. White of Mineral on Sunday morning.

White was taken into custody without incident in Louisa County and has been charged with one felony count of gang participation.

White is the seventh person arrested in connection to the case since the investigation began.

Leslie Casterlow, Halisi Uhuru and Anthony Stokes Jr. were arrested Feb. 6. They are each facing a charge of principle in second degree to the crime of murder during abduction.

Three siblings - Shantai Shelton, Mersadies Shelton and Daniel Mathis – were arrested two days before. Police say 20-year-old Mersadies Shelton and 18-year-old Daniel Mathis were arrested in the City of Alexandria without incident. They are charged with one count of grand larceny.

Shantai Shelton, 24, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant in Louisa County.

State police are continuing their investigation.
