President Barack Obama is welcoming French President Francois Hollande to historic Monticello.
The two world leaders are expected to arrive around 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (CHO) on Air Force One.
The presidents will be touring President Thomas Jefferson's historic home, giving these two heads of state a chance to explore the history of U.S. and French relations.
While this is Pres. Obama's fourth trip to Charlottesvile, this will be his first time to Monticello, and the first time a French president will visit the estate.
Traffic delays are expected as the presidents make their way through Charlottesville and Albemarle County. Public schools in both city and county are dismissing early for the day in order to help keep roads clear.
