Albemarle County Police are investigating a late night robbery in the 2000 block of Commonwealth Drive.

Police say at 10:45 pm a 25-year-old man was approached by two black males while sitting outside a nearby restaurant. The victim was attacked and a third person then joined in the assault. Money was taken.

The victim suffered minor head injuries and was treated at the scene.

Suspect descriptions:
- Black male, 6'0, thin build, white bandana, white t-shirt, shorts.
- Black male, 6'0, thin build, red bandana, blue t-shirt, dark jean shorts.
A third person description was not given.
