Officials release more information on a drug bust in Madison County.
On Wednesday, officers from the Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force and the Madison Co. Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant on a home in the Burnt Tree subdivision.
A search of the home resulted in the seizure of 1,200 doses of heroin, which law enforcement says has a street value of $48,000 to $60,000. Approximately one ounce of ecstasy, believed to be worth $1,300, and marijuana were also seized.
Corey Denise Williams, Michael Eady, Kyle Wesley Murray, Najee Matteux and Anissa L Rose were arrested at the home and charged with possession with the intent to distribute a Schedule II Drug - Heroin.
All subjects are being held at the Central Virginia Regional Jail awaiting court appearances.
