Testimony continues today in the Randy Allen Taylor trial. The FBI releasing more information about DNA evidence found at the scene.
On April 11, FBI agents entered Taylor’s camper to search for cell phones. Agent say they found a t-shirt with hair extensions and false eyelash under a couch.
Two beer cans were also found and collected by investigators.
Virginia State Police say a Miller Lite t-shirt found in the camper matches a shirt Taylor was wearing in a surveillance video taken from the Liberty gas station on August 3, when he was seen with Alexis Murphy. The FBI tested the t-shirt and said they found hair, nail clipping and eyelash all matching Murphy's DNA.
Investigators testified that blood on a pair of shorts taken from Taylor’s camper matches Murphy’s blood, but also contained the DNA of a man. The FBI could not conclusively determine that the male DNA belongs to Taylor.
