A man Charlottesville police have in custody for a robbery last night may be the same man Albemarle county police have been looking for.
Police said 43-year-old Bernard Rodenhizer was arrested last night charged with robbing the hallmark store in the Barracks Road shopping center.
Police said he walked into the store and asked the teller for change and then grabbed the drawer as she opened it. Police caught him a short time later
It turns out Albemarle County police were searching for Rodenhizer too. They said he tried to rob the Wood Grill Buffet on Branchlands Blvd Tuesday afternoon. He gave a note to a clerk asking for money. He didn't get any and then took off on foot.
