Jurors heard key testimony Wednesday in the trial of a man accused of shooting an Albemarle County police dog.
Officer Andy Gluba told the jury he heard his K-9 partner, Ingo, yelp and that's when he knew Ingo had been shot. He says even injured, Ingo, pointed him toward suspect Robert Lee Cooke.
Cooke was then shot twice. Cooke argues he acted in self-defense that night in October 2004.
If convicted he faces up to 10 years in prison.
