We now know where our drinking water will be coming from in the coming years.
The Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority has made a decision on how to prevent a future water shortage in Charlottesville.
According to their website, they will expand the Ragged Mountain reservoir and create a pipeline connecting it to the South Fork Rivanna reservoir.
The plan will be formally announced next week.
