Kids and parents in Madison County learned healthier ways of living during the county's “Kid’s Health Fair" Tuesday night.
The fair gave kids and parents a chance to learn more about eating healthier and staying active. Kids were also able to take part in physical demonstrations and exercises that they are able to continue at home to stay active.
“I talked with some of the other partners in the community and I had the idea of doing a health fair,” said Charmane Grant, fair organizer. “So I asked them if they would participate with me and they did so willingly.”
People who attended today's health fair were also able to have their eyes and blood pressure checked.
