One of the teens convicted of plotting attacks on Albemarle County schools is asking for a new trial.
The 15-year-old appeared in a higher court today, appealing his juvenile court conviction on charges of conspiring to commit murder and to blow up a school.
The hearing was closed to the public, but today the teen was expected to ask to be released on bond while he awaits a new trial.
