Charlottesville police have made two more arrests in an alleged gang beating.

This afternoon police arrested two Charlottesville high school students, one is charged in the alleged gang-beating and the other accused of intimidating a witness in this case.

Now a total of four teens are behind bars. Three are accused of severely beating two teens near Garrett Street over a week ago and with participating in a criminal street gang. The victims told police they were attacked because they refused to join "The Bloods."

The other teen charged today is accused of obstructing justice for threatening a witness.

“There potentially could be more arrests stemming from this type of behavior. We are real concerned that members of this group don't feel like they can go around and intimidate and threaten,” said Charlottesville Police Captain Chip Harding.

The teens charged today are expected to be in juvenile court tomorrow for a bond hearing.

The other two teens charged in this case were denied bond and remain behind bars.
