Attorneys spent the day in Charlottesville federal court selecting a jury in the retrial of a man accused of running a violent Charlottesville drug and crime ring.
The first trial for Louis Antonio Bryant ended in a mistrial. Bryant faces life in prison if convicted of racketeering charges.
All three of Bryant’s co-defendants from the first trial have now pleaded guilty. In fact, 28 men in all have pleaded guilty in connection with this case and some will be called to testify against Bryant.
