Albemarle County police are cracking down on speeders this week in the statewide "Click It or Ticket" program. Today one team of cops expects to write 45 tickets and they do it through team work.

Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they don't see you. One officer clocks the speed while another waits around the bend. This is all part of a statewide program called Click It or Ticket, where police catch speeders, but more importantly people not wearing their seat belts.

"It's hugely important. It's the single most important safety device in a motor vehicle," said Cpl. Rob Heide of the Albemarle County Police Department. "The seat belt will keep you behind the wheel where you can still reach the pedals, apply the brake, where you can still steer the vehicle."

So if you're driving somewhere you may want to buckle-up because it can cost you a $25 ticket and up to $86 for children.

The program lasts through June 3.
