Officials from the City of Charlottesville are urging both city and Albemarle County residents to participate in a community meeting Wednesday.
It's all part of the Strategic Plan, which takes a look at what people want to see in Charlottesville over the next five years. Officials believe it's a great way to get involved.
"They'll be sitting in groups of tables and each table will have a topic on it, whether it be environment or affordable housing. You pick the topics that are important to you and you get to spend about a half an hour on each table, discussing your thoughts and giving your opinions," said communications director for Charlottesville, Ric Barrick.
The Strategic Plan Community Meeting is set to take place Wednesday night at the Monticello Convention Center at 6:30 p.m.
