Charlottesville Police are investigating a stabbing. It happened shortly after 8 Monday morning in the Barracks Road Shopping Center.

According to investigators, Beth Rosomono Wray, 27-years-old, stabbed a 20-year-old man outside Michaels craft store. Police believe the two people knew each other.

Wray is an employee of Michaels.

Wray was still on the scene when police arrived and she was taken into custody.

"At this time, what we've been able to determine, there was an argument that had occurred between a male and female at this location," said Charlottesville Police Lt. Ronnie Roberts. "During the argument one of the individuals was stabbed."

The victim is said to have non-life threatening injuries.
