The Boys & Girls Club of Charlottesville and Albemarle hosted a gang and delinquency prevention training session today. Participants included various community leaders. The hope is that through this training program, community members can become an outreach for young folks headed down the wrong path.
"The Boys and Girls Club are really ramping up to be prepared for that, to hopefully not allow the gangs to really solidify and become entrenched within the community," explained Timothy Sinatra, Executive Director for the Charlottesville/Albemarle Boys & Girls Club.
Children, ages six through eighteen can participate in youth development programs for a fee of $35.
