A lead singer in a local rock band is arrested on charges of soliciting pornography from a sixteen-year-old girl from Louisa County.
Louisa County Police arrested twenty-three-year-old Christopher Atkinson of Virginia Beach for allegedly soliciting a minor to produce and send child pornography.
Atkinson was arrested on September 19. The arrest was the result of a month-long investigation between the Louisa Co. Sheriff's Office and Virginia Beach Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Detectives.
The charges allege that Atkinson solicited a 16 year-old female from Louisa County to take explicit pictures of herself and send them to her.
Atkinson was held without bond in the Virginia Beach City Jail and will be transported to Louisa County for a bond hearing later this week.
Atkinson is the lead singer in a local punk rock band in Virginia Beach by the name of "Celebrity Gunfight".
