A second teen guilty of plotting attacks on two Albemarle County schools is appealing his case.
The 17 year-old Western Albemarle High school student appeared in circuit court this morning.
He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to use explosives on a school house in April and was sentenced to juvenile dention.
A juvenile court judge was scheduled to review his case today but instead the teen appeared in Albemarle County Circuit court. Sources tell the Newsplex he is taking the first steps in the appeal process.
As all other court proceedings in this case, the hearing was held behind closed doors.
Three other teens were found guilty in this case including a 16-year-old Albemarle High school student who is also appealing.
