UPDATED 5:30 PM

Three additional people have been charged in connection to the disappearance of Waynesboro Police Reserve Captain Kevin Wayne Quick

Forty-nine-year-old Leslie Hope Casterlow and 31-year-old Anthony Darnell Stokes Jr., both of Manassas, and 22-year-old Halisi Uhuru (aka Gert Wright) of Danville are charged with one felony count of principal in the 2nd degree and one felony count of gang participation.

The arrests came after the search for 45-year-old Quick led to the discovery of a body in Goochland County on Thursday, Feb. 6th. He was reported missing Saturday, Feb. 1st, after he failed to show up at his girlfriend's house the night before.

The Office of the Medical Examiner is still in the process of positively identifying the body discovered in Goochland Co.

Mersadies Shelton, 20, and Daniel Mathis (aka Shelton), 18, both of the 2600 block of Barracks Road West in Albemarle Co, were taken into custody without incident Tuesday (Feb. 4) night. The arrests took place at a City of Alexandria hotel at approximately 11 p.m. They are each charged by state police with possession of stolen property/grand larceny for the theft of Quick’s silver 1999 Toyota 4Runner. Shelton and Mathis are still being held at the Central Virginia Regional Jail on no bond.

Tuesday night a third sibling, Shantai M. Shelton, 24, was also taken into custody at the same Alexandria location on an unrelated outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office. Shelton lives at the same address as her siblings.

Officials say no weapons have been recovered at this time, but their investigation is far from over.
