3 Killed in Single-car Wreck in Buckingham County

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia State Police say two adults and a child are dead following a single-car crash in Buckingham County.

The accident occurred early Sunday morning on Route 15, less than a mile north of Route 620.

State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller identified the victims as 44-year-old Anthony G. Foster and 4-year-old Thomas D. Goode, both of Cumberland, and 40-year-old Corey O. Garrett of Dillwyn.

Geller says a southbound car driven by Garrett was traveling at a high rate of speed when it ran off the road and hit several trees. Foster and Goode were passengers in the car.

All three victims died at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
