Absentee Voting Deadline Saturday

If you are going to be out of town next Tuesday but still would like to vote in the democratic primary election, you only have a couple of days left to vote in person.

You can vote at your local registrar's office until Saturday at 5 p.m. mail in ballots are no longer being given out but if you already have one, you have until the primary to return it.

“As long as we have it in our hands when the polls close election day at 7 p.m. We count it,” said Deputy Voter Registrar Evan Smith

There is only one contest on the ballot. Democrats Harris Miller and Jim Webb are seeking the democratic nomination for United States senate.
