Three Western Albemarle High School teenagers charged with underage drinking were in court on Tuesday.
Eighteen year-olds Steven Smith and Jacob Goeke, along with 19-year-old Stewart Macfarlane, pleaded guilty to drinking alcohol at an after-prom party in May.
The teenagers and 13 others were arrested while attending a party in Crozet.
The judge accepted their guilty plea in exchange for pre-conviction probation which includes regular classes on alcohol abuse.
"If they learn from the class, they do the class properly, and they don't get into any further trouble, at some point in the future the charges will be dismissed," said Albemarle County Commonwealth's Attorney's Jim Camblos.
Camblos says the order was standard procedure. The teenagers will have to return to court in June 2007.
