Approximately 25 people turned out at the new office of the Alzheimer's Association of Central and Western Virginia this afternoon for a cheese & wine garden party.
Guest speaker, Dr.Russell Swerdlow is the Associate Professor of Neurology at the UVa Health System.
An estimated 33,000 people are treated by the Alzheimer's Association. The group's goal is to eliminate the disease through research while offering support for those affected and their families.
