Folk, country, jazz and comedy lovers have a lot to look forward to this season at The Paramount.
The theater announced its 2006-2007 season on Friday.
In just its third season since it re-opened the theater is bringing in big names. Country singers Trisha Yearwood and SheDaisy will perform as well as Bo Diddley, the Beach Boys and the Coasters. But perhaps the biggest name is comedian Whoopi Goldberg.
"It's a beautiful facility. It's comfortable. The accustics are wonderful. It's intimate. It's just the perfect setting for artists to perform and audiences to enjoy," said Kristen Gleason of The Paramount.
Tickets will go on sale in July and August.
