Police in the town of Orange need your help to locate a convenience store robber.

The police chief says a woman entered the 7-11 on Byrd street Wednesday morning, and asked for a pack of cigarettes.
Once the clerk opened the register for change, the woman allegedly mentioned she had a gun, and demanded the clerk to hand over the money in the register.
Police released surveillance video showing the woman in action, who left the store wearing a black shirt, red pants, white shoes, and a red cloth covering her face and head.

"[From] what we can see on the tape, we don't know if this was something that was planned ahead of time or if it was just a target of opportunity. There were no other customers in the store, so that part of the investigation is continuing," said Orange Police Chief Jim Fenwick. "What we're focusing on right now is to get the best possible recording we can to enhance for possible identification purposes."

If you have any information call Orange Police at (540) 672-1491.
