The Lake Anna area in Louisa County has become a hot spot for development, and they will soon be getting "Barefoot Landing" added to the area
The Board of Supervisors met Wednesday and and voted unanimously to approve a proposal to turn over 28 acres of agriculture land into 17 lots at the Lake Anna waterfront.
"Everybody is trying to develop on Lake Anna because it's a very desirable place to be. There's not much you can do to oppose that, we have neighborhoods right beside each particular piece that they're doing, we've had a few neighbors opposing it," said Bryan Roberts of Architectural Concepts.
However, those residents that were concerned about disrupting nature did not turn out for the meeting.
Ironically, the developers that will be putting in Barefoot Landing are also responsible for building the same neighborhood where the opposing residents live.
