Lighting up on grounds just got a whole lot harder. A new University of Virginia policy does not allow smoking in private offices or former indoor designated smoking areas.

Smoking is no longer permitted inside any buildings or cars owned or leased by the University.

UVA officials said the new rules are meant to protect the health of the students and employees.
