Development has been a hot issue in Albemarle County, and now we are getting a better picture of how many new homes are going up in the county.
The White Hall district has seen the most growth with 144 new single family homes in use according to the county's 2006 Quarter Building report just released.
The report shows the Scottsville and Rivanna districts as having around 80 new homes go up, and the Samuel Miller district has about 70 new homes.
The Rio and Jack Jouett districts had less than 20 homes go up.
