Red Hill community members celebrated the first week back to school Sunday.
Members of the parent-teacher organization hosted the picnic as a way to kick off the school year as well as to offer new residents a chance to get to meet the rest of the community.
The PTO also used this opportunity as a chance to fund-raise for upcoming events throughout the year.
"It's just a time to get the families of the community together to welcome back the kids and to kick off the school year and to build a sense of community," PTO member Libby Rexrode said.
The elementary students enjoyed hamburgers, balloon animals, and snow cones.
