Airplane enthusiasts turned out at Freeman Field to get an up-close look at different planes as well as enjoy some food and face painting. Pilots displayed an acrobatics airshow complete with an F-4 Phantom jet, and planners say that's not all people look forward to.
"I think people enjoy just coming out to the airport. We have an airport we're very proud of and this is our once a year chance to showcase our airport," Freeman Field Manager, Dawn Pickhardt Howard said.
The event continues to grow each year attracting between 6,000 and 8,000 people.
