Icy road conditions could be to blame for a crash in Albemarle County Tuesday morning. Two people were killed when their car went off the road and crashed into a tree on Route 29.

Icy road conditions could be to blame for a double fatal crash in Albemarle County Tuesday morning.
Investigators tell CBS19 that the driver of the car went off the road and crashed into a tree on Route 29, just south of Interstate 64.
Two passengers inside the car were killed. The driver was taken to UVa Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The passengers have been identified as Dora Gunter Jones, 53-years-old, of Danville and Tiffany Marie Gunter, 34-years-old of Madison Heights. The driver has been identified as Wesley Motley, 54-years-old, of Reidsville, NC.
The crash was one of many across Central Virginia Tuesday morning.
