The commute on Interstate 64 in Albemarle County was back up to speed on Wednesday after a truck fire brought traffic to a crawl. Early Wednesday morning, a truck fire slowed traffic in both directions near mile marker 128.
Initial reports show the driver went off the road and hit a guardrail before coming to a stop in the median. That is where the truck caught fire.
The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
