February 14, 2012

Three Culpeper residents were arrested following a drug raid last Friday in the 900 block of Virginia Avenue.

At around 2:25 a.m. Feb. 10, the Virginia State Police SWAT team entered the house to assist Culpeper police and Culpeper County sheriff’s deputies who executed a search warrant. After searching the house, police seized drug paraphernalia, suspected powder and crack cocaine, along with suspected marijuana and cash.

Culpeper police charged 29-year-old Jason Ryan White with felony possession of cocaine. Jack Albert White Jr., 32, was arrested and charged with distribution of cocaine, possession of cocaine and misdemeanor charges of destruction of property and possession of marijuana. Both men lived at the house on Virginia Avenue.

Also arrested was 22-year-old Shaykita Grant, of the 7400 block of Kirtley Trail. She is charged with felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Police say Jack White became disorderly immediately following the raid and was transported to jail. While in the police car, White allegedly picked out the passenger side back window. At the jail, suspected cocaine wrapped in folded currency was recovered after he was searched.
