Albemarle County Firefighters battled an early morning fire at a warehouse just outside Charlottesville Monday.
The fire broke out around 3 A.M. inside a warehouse in the 2900 block of Ivy Road.
No one was hurt in the fire and no one was inside the building when it broke out.
The University of Virginia owns the warehouse. Right now it houses construction equipment.
Investigators think a piece of that equipment may have sparked the fire. The building suffered smoke damage.
