Charlottesville firefighters quickly put out a fire Wednesday afternoon at a house in the 2700 block of Jefferson Park Avenue Extended.
Two blocks of JPA were blocked off as crews worked.
Firefighters say some upholstery caught fire inside the house at around 1:00 pm. The smoke caused some minor damage in the home.
There were no injuries, and firefighters are still trying to figure out what caused the furniture to catch fire.
