It was all about politics in Charlottesville on Sunday.
Jim Webb's campaign headquarters on the downtown mall opened its doors. The candidate himself was on hand for the event.
Later in the evening, a fundraiser at the Paramount Theatre featured authors John Grishom and Stephen King. Governor Tim Kaine emceed the event.
At a press conference Webb said he's feeling optimistic about the money his campaign is raising.
"In the 24 hours after 'Meet the Press,' we raised, unsolicited, almost as much money as we we spent in the primary."
Tickets to Sunday night's fundraiser ranged from $100 all the way up to $2,100. Organizers say the event was a sell out, with more than 1,000 tickets sold.
