Voters who are going to be out of town on Election Day are now able to sign up for an absentee ballot.
Charlottesville registrar officials recommend those eligible voters who know they won't be able to cast a ballot in person, to stop by the office on the first floor of the City Hall Annex building.
"We will be open the two Saturdays prior to the election, October the 28th from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and November the 4th from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. for absentee voting in person and November the 4th is the last day that you can vote in person," said Charlottesville Registrar Sheri Iachetta.
Election Day is November 7th.
