Wednesday, the Virginia General Assembly is holding a special session to focus on the problem of transportation.
The General Assembly hopes to come up with a new plan, but Delegate David Toscano said the three day session may not be enough to hammer out the growing problem.
"The House Republicans say no new taxes under any circumstances. The Senate Republicans take the position that you’re going to have to raise additional revenue to solve the problem. That's where the conflict lies right now and until that's resolved I don't think we are going to have a solution," said Toscano.
Delegate Toscano said additional money is going to have to be raised in order to solve some of the basic problems with transportation.
