Some area firefighters are making sure kids in the hospital have a happy Easter. They spent Thursday afternoon at the Kluge Children's Rehabilitation Center for the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
The firefighters spent the afternoon hiding and helping kids find the eggs. Parents say seeing their little ones so happy makes the event special.
"We can still celebrate Easter even though we're in the hospital setting," said Beth Edwards, mother of a patient. "KCRC is so much more than a hospital, it's a family."
This is the 34th year the firefighters have participated in the Kluge Egg Hunt.
