Route 29 Crash Kills Faber Man
Edward Lee Wright, Jr. died when his SUV went off Route 29 and hit several trees in the median.

Albemarle County Police are looking into a single-vehicle crash that killed a Faber man. Edward Lee Wright, Jr. died when his SUV went off Route 29 and hit several trees in the median. Wright was traveling southbound. The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. Monday between North Garden and Covesville.
Wright was the only person in the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Albemarle County Police are working on reconstructing the scene as they investigate the crash.
This is the fifth death of the year on Albemarle County roads. This time last year, the county reported one traffic death.
