In Albemarle County, kids were lining up by the hundreds to be scared at the annual "Boo House." The event, put on by the Albemarle County Police Department, is made possible by donations. This year there was a story that guided kids through the haunted house and rest assured, there were plenty of screams.
"It's really about the community pulling together and really coming together on a nice evening to do something pretty special," Sgt. Peter Mainzer of Albemarle County Police said.
This was the 5th year for the Boo House.
