Billy Gorman is just one of many people in Crozet who had the Aryan Alternative delivered to his home in what is normally a quiet Crozet neighborhood.

The paper touts itself as news and commentary from a white perspective but Gorman and some neighbors are upset, saying the paper is nothing but racist hate speech.

"Some things that come to mind are fear, kind of fear mongering which is a common strategy but upsetting is the emotional part of it," said Gorman.

We talked with one person who didn't want to appear on camera out of fear of being targeted by the distributors.

"I can't explain the emotions that I went through. I mean you run the gamut of all emotions when you pick up something like that, especially so close to your house," said a Crozet resident.

Some neighbors say the paper was hand delivered. They find that unsettling and upsetting, especially in a neighborhood filled with kids.

"I just, I wish it would stop. I don't like it. I don't like the fact that the kids can get ahold of it," said a Crozet resident.

"As these instances come up I think the best thing to do is just to make sure your kids know what's going on, on a level they can understand," said Gorman.

The Missouri publisher, Glenn Miller, says they're not out to get people upset.

"We don't like to upset people, we tell the truth. If the truth upsets people, what the hell are you going to do about it," said Miller.

He says the area was targeted and that more editions can be expected.

"Regarding the distributors, I've known a couple of them for more than 20 years," said Miller.

In the mean time, some residents are looking into the possibility of taking legal action to keep the papers out of their neighborhood. For now many are just tossing it in the trash.

Miller says if people don't want his paper, all they have to do is call and they will never receive one again. His number, 417-463-7703.

Why do people full of so much hate have to be considered "rednecks" they are allowed to voice there own opinions they are not "rednecks" they are skinheads. GROW UP people. Most rednecks and blacks get along just fine. What pisses me off is that most the people calling the average American "rednecks" are classless low life scum! Crozet is full of these uppity rich soccer moms and cheating husbands. GET A JOB!

While I am disgusted at this filth that was deposited in my driveway and am glad to see that most people here agree it's utter trash, I am disappointed that these ignorant rednecks are getting so much attention. It's exactly what they want: free publicity for their "cause". They're quite proud of themselves for riling everyone up and getting on the news last night, as evidenced by publisher Glenn Miler's postings on vnnforum.com. His local lackeys, Ron Doggett and Walter Ring, were the ones who tossed this trash into our driveways, and they're bragging online about their "achievement". Perhaps we should allow these buffoons to get the attention they want, because while their ignorance seems to know no bounds, the overwhelming majority in our local communities are far more intelligent, educated and AWARE that race and religion aren't what make you who you are. It's who you are as an individual and what you do with your life that matter. These inbred white trash don't matter.

Anonymus, Evidently, the people you are talking about are not the only ones who are rasits and/or willing to assign stereotypes, prejudge people and hate others for not seeing things the same way they do. Without knowing anything about the people writing and distributing this legal literature, you have automatically assumed that they are "rednecks". They are poor, uneducated, drunk country bumkins in your opinion. If you would stop and actually learn something about the people who are responsible for this literature, you would learn that they are educated, purposeful, determined and quite smart. My family, most of which are "rednecks" (big bellies of beer, uninteligable accents, chaws of tobacco, big trucks, Confederate, not rebel, flags, limited education and camoflauge)are the white people that you have accused of being these hate mongers. Why do you hate them? They do not live by the ideals written about in that paper. They live by love, beer and Jesus.Color doesn't matter. Im mixed.
