A Charlottesville grocery store is open again Thursday (6/4) after a fire early Wednesday morning.
The Charlottesville Fire Marshall says they're still investigating the fire.
It broke out at the Food Lion on 5th Street in Charlottesville at 1:00 am Wednesday morning. Firefighters say the fire started on the loading dock inside the store.
"The ladder truck laddered the building, and we found indeed there was some smoke coming from the building itself," says Rick Crickenburger, Charlottesville Battalion Chief. "We had to force entry to the front of the store and to the rear of the store."
Officials say the sprinkler system contained the flames to the storage area. Nobody was hurt, and no word yet on what sparked the fire.
