Video game giant Nintendo released a new game on Sunday, right in time for the holiday season.
The new game system is called the Wii.
The Wii impressed gamers who thought the graphics were life-like.
"Look at that, it looks like he's really looking at you. it's like you paused television," said one young gamer.
Although the new nintendo system is in the same category as Microsoft's X-Box 360 and Sony's Play Station Three. But, gamers do notice slight but significant differences between systems.
"Play station three is kind of almost...it has amazing graphics and it's really for gamers. This (Wii) is really just like anyone can pick up and play it," said one gamer.
So does it look like the wii is winning among video game lovers?
The public has yet decide. But, it looks like the cheaper Wii is gaining vast popularity around the country.
Nationwide, chain stores like Best Buy and Toys-r-us, saw long lines of nintendo fans camping out.
In Charlottesville we were told only a few faithful fans camped out, trying to be one of the first to get their hands on the new Nintendo.
Circuit City told us they were only given a small stock of these system, that sold out right when the store opened.
Sales manager, Doug Snyder, told us he isn't sure when the store will see another shipment.
"It really depends because sometimes they don't really release a date as in the initial launch date where you know they'll be at a certain store at a certain time. And from this point on, we are all kind of speculating as to when they'll show up on a truck or when they'll come into the store," said Snyder.
The Wii sells for anywhere between $250-$300.
